Windsor Collection Rocking Chair with Lattice Arms

The Windsor Rocker takes the collection's flat, flared arms and lattice sides and sets them on a pair of long rockers. It's 30 inches wide, 41 deep and 40 tall, handwoven of natural rattan.

A webbed deck under the seat adds comfort, and the seat and back cushions come in the fabric you pick. Designer Wicker calls the collection ideal for the covered porch, and it's just as happy by a living room window.

The Rockport Rocker from Designer Wicker is 34 inches wide, with Rockport's braided trim and thick weaving. Or stay with Windsor and add the Windsor Ottoman, then browse the Windsor Collection for a matching sofa or loveseat.

In White with navy cushions piped in white, the rocker has a clean, classic look. The braided band under the seat and the diamond lattice under each arm stand out more in a light finish.

The rockers themselves are smooth rattan, curved at both ends. They run a little past the front legs and well past the back.

Tall Woven Back Without the Cushion

Take away the back cushion and you can see how tall the back is, woven in tight vertical rows up to the top rail. It angles back behind the arms at a relaxed pitch.

Keep the back cushion on for lounging. With only the seat cushion in place, the rocker looks lighter and shows off more of the weave.

Windsor Rocker Care and Maintenance

Vacuum the frame and rockers with a brush attachment to pull dust out of the lattice and weave. A wash with mild soap or Murphy's Oil Soap in water takes care of grime; rinse it and let it dry fully before rocking. Vacuum the cushions often and clean them by fabric type: acrylic covers unzip for a cold, delicate machine wash, cotton needs a dry cleaner, and either can take a new coat of Scotchgard afterward.
