Whitewash Wicker Furniture for the Whole Room

This set furnishes a living room or sunroom in a single order: the Bar Harbor sofa, loveseat, arm chair, ottoman, coffee table and end table. Seat and back cushions come on the sofa, loveseat and chair, the ottoman gets its own cushion, and both tables include their glass tops. Between the sofa, loveseat and chair, there's room for six people.

Whitewash lays a pale, creamy coat over natural wicker and honey rattan and lets the grain show, so the room feels light without looking stark. Spice Islands designs Bar Harbor in house for indoor use and draws on the easy pace of a Maine summer. It's the simplest way to get whitewash wicker furniture that matches from one end of the room to the other.

The Bar Harbor Coffee Table in Whitewash measures 37.5 by 23.5 inches, and the Bar Harbor End Table in Whitewash is 24 by 17.5 inches. Both have glass tops, twisted rope trim and a slatted lower shelf.

Most of the room photos on this page show Bar Harbor in White, so expect this set to look a little warmer and creamier in person. If you'd rather have the brighter finish, see the Bar Harbor 6 Piece Seating Set in White.

Sofa and Loveseat Facing Each Other

The 80 inch sofa and the 57 inch loveseat are both 35 inches deep and 36 inches tall, so they look balanced facing each other across the coffee table. Each has flared arms with braided trim and a scalloped lattice skirt, like the loveseat shown here.

Both are also sold on their own as the Bar Harbor Sofa in Whitewash and the Bar Harbor Loveseat in Whitewash.

Arm Chair with Open Lattice Sides

The arm chair is 36 inches wide with the same flared arms and open lattice sides as the larger pieces. Pull the 25 inch ottoman up in front of it, or use the ottoman as extra seating when the room fills up.

The ottoman is sold separately too, as the Bar Harbor Ottoman in Whitewash.

Bar Harbor Set Care and Maintenance

Once a month or so, lift off the cushions and vacuum every piece with a brush attachment, working into the lattice and along the braided arms. Clean both glass tops with an ordinary glass cleaner. If a frame gets a spill, blot it with a barely damp cloth and mild soap, then leave it to air dry. Keep the set indoors, away from heaters and damp corners, and lift pieces instead of dragging them when you rearrange.

Shipping and Lead Time: Ships within 4 to 6 weeks.
