Mauna Loa Rattan Coffee Table with Glass Top in Brownwash
The Mauna Loa Coffee Table sets a sheet of glass into a brownwash rattan frame, so the woven top panel shows through while cups, books and trays sit on a smooth surface. At 43.5 inches wide, 22.25 inches deep and 17.5 inches tall, it's sized for the space in front of a sofa or loveseat.
Like every Mauna Loa piece, it's designed in house by Spice Islands and made of natural wicker and honey rattan for indoor use. If you want a rattan coffee table with a glass top that doesn't hide its weave, this one has braided lattice on all four sides.
Glass gives you a flat surface for coasters, a tray or a puzzle, and it keeps spills off the weave underneath. You still see the rattan pattern through it, so the table keeps its woven look in everyday use.
The coffee table belongs to the Mauna Loa group, with a sofa, loveseat, arm chair, ottoman and end table in the same finish, each sold separately. Set it in front of the Mauna Loa Sofa in Brownwash and add the Mauna Loa End Table in Brownwash, which also has a glass top.
Under the glass sits a woven top panel framed in thick rattan poles, and braided wicker fills every side below it. Each corner flares out in a curved bracket capped with a braided rattan knot, and the apron arches between the legs.
Brownwash is the darker of the two Mauna Loa finishes, so the weave reads a deep brown against the warm, reddish poles. Spice Islands can't say enough about how the design looks from the front, back and side, which counts on a table people walk all the way around.

Mauna Loa Coffee Table Care and Maintenance
Clean the glass with ordinary glass cleaner and a soft cloth. For the frame, dust with a dry cloth and run a vacuum's brush attachment over the lattice sides to clear the weave. Blot spills on the rattan right away, then wipe with a soft cloth wrung out in mild, soapy water and let it air dry. Keep the table out of direct heat and damp spots, and lift it to move it instead of sliding it across the floor.
