Bali Arm Chair in Natural or White Rattan

The Bali Arm Chair is the easiest way to bring Spice Islands' Bali look into a room: one seat, a frame of open rattan arcs and arms that curve outward at the top. Choose Natural for the warm honey tone of rattan or White for a bright, clean look. It's 32.5 inches wide, 35 deep and 35 tall, small enough for a reading corner.

Spice Islands designs Bali in house from natural wicker and honey rattan, for indoor use. It calls the flared arms a festive design found only in its own line, and says Bali works in a family room as easily as in a sun-drenched sunroom.

Every Bali piece is sold separately, so you can build a room one chair at a time. Add the Bali Ottoman in Natural or White as a footrest, or see the same chair in darker finishes as the Bali Arm Chair in Brownwash or Black.

Natural Rattan with a Leafy Print

Outward Curving Arms

Seen from the side, each arm rises from the front leg and sweeps outward over the seat, which gives you a bit more room to settle in. The whole side is a fan of overlapping rattan arcs, open enough to let the fabric show through.

The back of the chair carries the same overlapping arcs as the sides, set against the navy back cushion in this White version. You can angle it into a corner or turn it toward a window, and the view from behind still looks finished.

Bali Arm Chair Care and Maintenance

Give the frame a pass with a soft, dry cloth when you dust the room, and use a vacuum's brush attachment around the arcs on the sides and back. If something spills, blot it, then wipe with a barely damp cloth and mild soap and let it air dry. Keep the chair out of direct heat and away from damp floors, and pick it up rather than dragging it across the room.
