Where Rattan Imports started as a creative side hustle to pair two things I love, shopping and interior design - it has grown into a business I am deeply passionate about. At Rattan Imports we source beautiful modern and traditional rattan furniture. We offer a wide rage of styles, colors, and collections, so there really is something for everyone that wants to weave in a little feel of the tropics wherever they are.
Growing up in Barbados for a lot of my life meant that Rattan furniture was everywhere. Whether it be my grandfathers old Caribbean colonial mansion where there was always a rattan patio set where all my family would spend evenings and afternoons to the humble cozy home I decorated for myself when I moved back to the island where I had a more modern approach which still had rattan pieces intertwined to add warmth and heritage.
What I love the most about running a small business is the people that make our business run everyday. The greatest reward is being able to create a successful business that in return provides for the families of our loved employees!
